What to know

Angelus has revisited an unusual 1958 quarter repeater with the Tinkler, a compact chiming watch offered in stainless steel and yellow gold. Its 38mm case houses the automatic A-600 calibre, which sounds the hours and quarter-hours on demand. The movement runs at 4Hz and provides approximately 70 hours of power reserve, while the case is rated to 30 metres of water resistance.

The restrained dial and small proportions keep the complication discreet, making the acoustic mechanism the real centrepiece. Angelus limits the steel edition to 25 pieces and the yellow-gold reference 0TKAQ.W01A.C1470Q to 15 pieces. The revival was presented in April 2026 as part of the brand’s La Fabrique collection.
