What to know

The Ancestra Jiao moves Atelier Wen beyond the integrated-bracelet Perception into a more sculptural dress watch. Detached lugs and a concave bezel frame a hand-worked silver dial covered with translucent blue grand feu enamel. Calligraphic numerals and baguette-cut diamond markers add detail without filling the centre.

The 38mm steel case houses Pequignet’s automatic EPM03 calibre, customised with Chinese manuscript decoration and a 65-hour reserve. Its 100-metre water resistance is unusually practical for the style. July 2025 coverage introduced this launch edition, distinct from the later sand-and-brown Ancestra Yao collaboration. The photographs show Jiao’s original cool-toned enamel treatment.
