What to know
Auricoste's Spirotechnique recalls the diving-watch design associated with La Spirotechnique, the French scuba-equipment pioneer established by Jacques-Yves Cousteau and Emile Gagnan. The bright yellow diver emblem, round luminous indexes and conspicuously protected crown at four o'clock give this steel-cased watch a character that is unmistakably nautical.
Its 42 mm brushed stainless-steel case is 12.85 mm thick and rated to 300 metres of water resistance. A 60-minute rotating timing bezel, sapphire crystal and Swiss Sellita SW200 automatic movement deliver the functional specification expected of a contemporary diver. Manufacturer information also references ETA 2824-2 as a movement used within the family; the present English listing specifies Sellita SW200.

The steel round-index version is listed with NATO and rubber strap options, and the maker offers a three-year warranty. The historical inspiration extends much further back than the current product; this is coverage of the extant collection and not a claimed October 2026 premiere.
