AVI-8 gives Snoopy’s Flying Ace a whole Peanuts crew

AVI-8’s Hawker Typhoon Baldwin Automatic Peanuts Snoopy Flying Ace brings Snoopy, Charlie Brown and Woodstock together on one dial. The Rogue Black version puts the characters against a dark background with cream markers, while hidden artwork appears under ultraviolet light. A paw-print crown and Snoopy-decorated rotor extend the theme beyond the front of the watch.

The 42mm steel case measures 13.7mm thick and uses sapphire crystal, an exhibition back and a leather strap. A Japanese Miyota 8245 automatic movement drives hours, minutes and small seconds; water resistance is 5 ATM. The release is scheduled for 30 October at US$330. Four colourways are offered, each restricted to 550 numbered examples, with this article’s photographs showing Rogue Black, reference AV-4155-01.
