AWAKE’s Royal Blue Frosted Leaf develops the brand’s Sơn Mài technique with pure gold leaf. Vietnamese artisans build the dial like a mille-feuille, alternating natural blue pigments, lacquer and 24-karat gold before hand-sanding and polishing the surface. Each 15-hour process produces an individual pattern, framed by the brand’s luminous capped markers and hands.
Its steel case is 38mm wide, 11.5mm thick and water-resistant to 100 metres. The automatic La Joux-Perret G101 provides 68 hours of reserve beneath a sapphire back and custom tungsten rotor. A blue Jean Rousseau Alcantara strap completes the 200-piece edition. AWAKE lists the watch at €3,000 including taxes and duties.
