What to know

The BR-03 Astro puts Earth at the centre of an aventurine night sky. Mars indicates the hours on a transparent carrier, the Moon indicates minutes, and a satellite marks seconds. The sapphire crystal is shaped to give the central Earth a sense of relief, making the display a small moving astronomical scene rather than a conventional set of hands.

Automatic calibre BR-CAL.327 supplies a 54-hour power reserve. The micro-blasted black ceramic case measures 41mm wide and 11.5mm thick, with 100-metre water resistance. Black rubber and synthetic canvas are supplied. The planetary graphics tell ordinary time; they do not represent a calculated astronomical complication.
