What to know

The BR-03 Skeleton Steel uses transparency to change the relationship between the dial and the mechanism beneath it. The familiar numerals and applied markers remain, but the open centre lets bridges and moving components become part of the composition. Polished and satin-finished steel gives this version a brighter frame than its ceramic counterparts.

The watch measures 41mm across and 9.65mm thick. Automatic calibre BR-CAL.328 has a 54-hour power reserve and displays hours, minutes and seconds without a date aperture. Anti-reflective sapphire protects the open display; water resistance is 100 metres. Black rubber and a synthetic-fabric strap are supplied.
