What to know

The GAC-2500-1A is the purest resin expression of Casio’s new analog platform. Its black case, strap, dial and markers produce a near-monochrome surface, with pale hands and small orange details preserving legibility. Small seconds at nine and the three-cell Multi-Mission Date at three give the simple face an unusual technical symmetry.

The bio-based resin case measures 46.7 × 44.5 × 12.7 mm and weighs only 47 grams. Casio includes the magnetically attached Shock Release minute hand, a 30-minute stopwatch, full calendar to 2099, hand shift and seconds-hand sleep functions. Mineral glass, amber LED lighting and 200-metre water resistance make this the most traditional G-SHOCK proposition in the 2500 family.
