What to know
The GMC-2500-1A keeps the brushed stainless-steel bezel of the metal 2500 but swaps its bracelet for a black bio-based resin band. A black sunray dial, silver markers and white luminous hands give it the most familiar G-SHOCK palette in the new family, with small seconds and Multi-Mission Date balancing the face.

At 68 grams, it is less than half the weight of the bracelet versions while retaining their 46.7 × 43.8 × 12.9 mm dimensions. The analog module includes a 30-minute stopwatch, full calendar to 2099, hand-shift function and seconds-hand sleep mode. Mineral glass, amber LED illumination, shock resistance and a 200-metre rating cover the practical fundamentals.
