What to know

Chopard’s Mille Miglia Classic Chronograph American Racing Stripes translates a familiar racing livery into a blue lacquered dial crossed by two offset white bands. Red chronograph details reinforce the motorsport theme. Reference 168619-3021 is a US-exclusive edition of 50 watches, using a 40.5mm Lucent Steel case and a raised glassbox sapphire crystal.

An automatic, COSC-certified chronograph movement provides a 54-hour reserve, with running seconds, elapsed-time counters and a date on the dial. The sapphire back carries crossed American and chequered flags, while a navy rubber strap uses Chopard’s tyre-tread pattern. Water resistance is 50 metres. The edition’s price is available on request; estimates based on other Mille Miglia references should not be treated as its official retail price.
