What to know

Citizen’s redesigned Series 8 time-and-date model reduces the case to 39mm wide and approximately 10mm thick. A new tier between the circular bezel and faceted midcase creates more geometric depth, while the thinner central section makes the profile less bulky. The bracelet is now fully integrated into the design.

Automatic calibre 9051 retains a 42-hour reserve and a stated daily accuracy range of minus ten to plus twenty seconds. Basketweave-textured dials accompany gold-tone, two-tone and steel executions, with a separate limited carbon-dial version. March coverage listed the gold NB6085 at $1,295. These mechanical watches are distinct from Citizen’s light-powered Eco-Drive collections.
