What to know
Fiona Krüger’s Mechanical Entropy replaces the familiar circular arrangement of a watch movement with a deliberately fractured composition. Bridges and components appear to burst across the open face, yet remain a functioning mechanism. The elongated titanium case measures 48 by 40mm and is only 7.5mm thick, with the winding crown positioned at the top.
The hand-wound Chaos 1 calibre was developed with Agenhor and offers a 50-hour reserve. Its gold-toned skeletonised execution is shown here from both sides. Introduced in 2018 as part of the Chaos collection, the watch treats movement architecture as a visual argument about time and change.
