What to know
F.P. Journe’s Chronomètre Bleu places a reflective blue-chrome dial inside a 39mm tantalum case. Cream-coloured Arabic numerals and hands bring warmth to the cool metal, while the small-seconds register interrupts the dial at roughly 7:30. The restrained layout makes changes in the dial’s reflection part of the watch’s visual character.

Hand-wound calibre 1304 uses an 18K rose-gold movement and two parallel mainspring barrels, with a stated reserve of 56 ±2 hours. The case measures 8.3mm thick. Its interest lies in that combination of an unusual exterior metal, legible typography and a movement built around steady power delivery.
