What to know
The Répétition Souveraine initially resembles a restrained dress watch: silver guilloché, blued hands and an offset small-seconds register. A small opening near the left edge reveals the striking hammers, while a slide on the case activates the minute repeater. The visual restraint leaves the complication’s sound as its defining feature.

F.P. Journe uses steel for the case for acoustic reasons and an 18K rose-gold structure for manually wound calibre 1408. The official dimensions are 40mm across and 8.5mm thick, with a stated 56 ±2-hour reserve. The photographs show the silver-dial configuration and its movement.
