What to know
This generation of F.P. Journe’s Tourbillon Souverain turns the tourbillon cage upright, creating a deep opening on the left side of the dial. A polished surrounding surface reflects light into the mechanism. The enamel time subdial at three balances that aperture, with the power reserve above and seconds below.

Hand-wound calibre 1519 combines the 30-second vertical tourbillon with a constant-force remontoir and deadbeat seconds. The stated reserve is 80 hours. A 42mm case, 13.6mm thick, is offered in platinum or 18K 6N gold. The photographs compare the two metals and show the movement from the back.
