Hublot’s Big Bang Original Soft Touch explores the feel of a sports watch as much as its appearance. A specially developed rubber compound creates a soft, velvet-like texture across the titanium case, bezel, dial and strap. Hublot describes an overmoulding process that incorporates the compound during production rather than applying a removable surface coating.
The underlying watch is the 43mm Big Bang Original, powered by an automatic Unico flyback chronograph. All Black and All Red executions connect the treatment to earlier Hublot colour experiments. September launch reporting put both at $24,900. The tactile treatment is the defining change; the watch remains a mechanical chronograph beneath its unusual exterior.
