What to know
Voutilainen’s 28MPR adds a moonphase display and power-reserve indicator to the Vingt-8 family. The photographed steel example pairs a salmon-coloured guilloché dial with an enamel moon disc. Its 37.5mm case uses a concave bezel and straight lugs, giving this final interpretation a slightly different silhouette from earlier models.
The in-house movement retains the family’s direct-impulse escapement with two escape wheels. A 13.5mm balance runs at 18,000 vibrations per hour, with 65 hours of reserve. The maker announced fifteen pieces in each of steel, titanium and platinum. Published coverage dates to December 2025; this is a profile of that concluding edition.
