What to know
Louis Erard and Vianney Halter have introduced the Futur Antérieur Silver, a compact steel watch that separates its displays across two riveted portholes. One dial carries the hours and minutes; the smaller dial gives running seconds. Each display has its own automatic Sellita SW100 movement and crown, allowing the asymmetric layout to stay only 8.85 mm thick. The articulated lugs, blued hands and blue ostrich-leather strap reinforce Halter’s retro-futurist language without turning the watch into a replica of his earlier work.

The case measures 38 by 44 mm, is built from 67 components and is rated to 50 metres. Both movements run at 4 Hz and provide roughly 42 hours of reserve under typical conditions, according to Louis Erard. The Silver reference 22243AA07.BOA05 is limited to 178 pieces and priced at CHF 4,950 before tax. A gold-toned counterpart is offered in the same quantity, while a 78-set presentation pairs both versions.
