MAEN × Horoverse Mahjong 36 turns calendar details into cultural references

The Mahjong 36 collaboration with Horoverse transforms MAEN’s compact calendar watch through references to mahjong tiles and playing tables. A green dial surrounds two pale counters, with Chinese characters and carefully placed red details giving the calendar a different visual language. The green cloth strap adds a tactile reference to the surface on which the game is played.

Reference MHV.03 uses a Miyota 9122 automatic movement inside a 36mm steel case. MAEN specifies box-domed sapphire glass, 12.6mm thickness including the crystal, a 46mm lug-to-lug span and 5 ATM water resistance. The displays reinterpret a conventional complete calendar through Chinese labels; they do not mechanically track the Chinese lunar calendar. Like other complete calendars of this type, the mechanism requires correction after months shorter than 31 days.
