What to know
MAEN’s Grand Tonneau Ultra-Thin collaboration with Nico Leonard replaces the original model’s digital-style apertures with conventional hour and minute hands. The tonneau steel case remains 34mm wide but becomes just 6.4mm thick. Textured graduated dials and a newly designed tubular-link bracelet give the watch a strong 1970s character.
La Joux-Perret’s D101 is manually wound and provides a 50-hour reserve, with decoration visible through a sapphire back. The watch is rated to 50 metres and includes a rubber strap. April reporting listed steel versions at $1,790 and a gold-plated option at $1,849, with a one-week made-to-order window that has since passed.
