What to know
Merci Instruments’ Beaumarchais collection combines a faceted 36mm steel case with an octagonal upper bezel and a rounded polished base. Six dial designs explore different marker arrangements and textures, from stars and arrowheads to Roman numerals and luminous blocks. Shell cordovan straps complement the individual colours without obscuring the case’s architectural shape.
The Miyota 9039 automatic provides a stated 42-hour reserve, while sapphire crystal and 100-metre water resistance give the design useful everyday credentials. March launch reporting listed €470. The collection takes its name from the Paris boulevard associated with Merci, and broadens the brand’s vocabulary beyond its earlier field-watch-inspired designs.
