What to know
The NH TYPE7A gives Naoya Hida’s classical design language a two-register chronograph. Its 36mm steel case uses round pushers, a concave bezel and a German-silver dial with hand-engraved Breguet numerals. Gold timekeeping hands contrast with blued chronograph hands, separating everyday reading from elapsed-time measurement.
The watch uses restored vintage Valjoux 236 movements from the Valjoux 23 family, with manual winding, a column wheel and a horizontal clutch. It measures 11.7mm thick and has a closed caseback. Announced with Hida’s April 2026 collection, planned production is ten examples across 2026–2027. The photographs show this chronograph rather than other models in the collection.
