The analysis
The first meteorite dial in Orient Star's history brings naturally varied crystalline geometry to its 75th-anniversary M34 F8 Date. No two examples can share an identical mineral pattern.
The 40mm stainless-steel case holds the automatic F8N64 calibre, with silicon escape wheel and over 60 hours of reserve. A power reserve indication and date are integrated into the metallic dial.
The most interesting design decision is one of hierarchy. Applied indices and the silver-toned hands compete with the natural pattern, yet the restrained palette keeps the watch relatively coherent.
Where a printed dial expresses a controlled graphic idea, meteorite introduces material unpredictability. That makes individual variation part of the appeal, but also an argument for seeing the particular watch before buying.
The edition is limited to 255 pieces. Original launch was March 2026; this is later editorial coverage, not a November launch. Specifications and images come from Orient Star, without hands-on testing.
