What to know
Seiko’s 5 Sports HUF SRPM09 borrows the translucent dial idea of the 1970s Time Sonar, rendering it in bright HUF Green. Calendar discs remain visible beneath the tinted surface, while an orange seconds hand and zero marker recall the original’s graphic details. This modern version is a three-hand day-date watch, not a chronograph.
The steel case measures 39.4mm across and 11.6mm thick, with Hardlex crystals and 100-metre water resistance. Automatic calibre 4R36 offers around 41 hours of reserve. A green display back carries a San Francisco street-map motif. Seiko specifies 7,000 examples worldwide; February coverage listed a European price of €410.
