What to know

Seiko’s new Astron GPS Solar Dual-Time Chronograph adopts calibre 5X63, a revised three-counter layout and a thinner 43.4mm titanium case. The light-powered quartz movement combines GPS synchronisation, a chronograph and a second time zone displayed on a 24-hour subdial. An octagonal two-part bezel gives the case a sharper appearance.

The 145th-anniversary HAB004 pairs a pale dial with blue counters and includes both a titanium bracelet and a blue-and-white silicone strap. A new push-button exchange system makes swapping them easier. May reporting listed 2,000 examples at $2,900, with June availability. Other versions introduced alongside it use different colours and strap combinations.
