What to know
Seiko’s SPB503J1 puts the Alpinist’s familiar mountain-watch layout into a luminous teal-blue colourway. The Arabic numerals, cathedral-style hands and wedge markers are inherited from the collection’s long-standing visual language, while the two crowns keep the inner compass scale operational. A steel bracelet and polished bezel make the watch equally convincing away from the trail.
Inside, calibre 6R55 is an automatic movement that can be wound by hand and runs for approximately 72 hours. Seiko lists a 39.5 mm steel case, 12.7 mm thickness, sapphire crystal with a date magnifier, and 200 m water resistance. This reference became available in November 2025 rather than October 2026. The official Dutch catalogue lists €1,080.
