Semper & Adhuc’s Inopinée Classique frames the Bordeaux maker’s circular-economy approach in an unusually compact oval case. The satin-finished 316L steel body measures 37mm across, 8mm thick and 44.5mm lug to lug, with an 18mm strap and a sapphire crystal. A white dial and dark Roman numerals make this the more formal of the Inopinée variations, while the crown can be ordered on either side.
Inside is a restored Swiss hand-wound AS 1012-family calibre, originally produced between the 1930s and 1970s. The two-hand movement offers approximately 36 hours of power reserve and can be glimpsed through the small case-back aperture. Water resistance is rated to 3 ATM, and the French-leather strap is made by hand.
