What to know
Sternglas connects the Hamburg Automatik Edition Neuwerk 2.0 to the North Sea island of Neuwerk through a deliberately atmospheric palette. A storm-grey dial carries orange luminous accents, turquoise detailing and a red seconds hand. The date window at six has a polished frame, giving a small point of brightness to the otherwise subdued surface.

The 42mm steel watch uses a Miyota 8215 automatic movement with a stated power reserve of up to 42 hours. Through the exhibition back, a custom grey rotor echoes a ship’s wheel. Double-domed sapphire glass, a leather strap with red stitching and 5 ATM water resistance complete the design. Its interest lies in the specificity of the colour choices and maritime details, rather than a generic nautical logo.
