What to know

Svea Atelier’s Monolith Tiger Eye gives the young Swedish brand’s asymmetrical watch a polished natural tiger-eye dial. Warm bands of stone sit within a brushed gold-PVD steel case, with the integrated bracelet extending its sharp geometry. As a natural material, the dial brings variation to an otherwise tightly controlled design.

The case measures 27.5mm wide, 27mm long and just 5.5mm thick. A Swiss-made Ronda 1062 quartz movement powers the hands, while sapphire glass with six-layer anti-reflective coating protects the stone. The official specification lists 50-metre water resistance, a folding bracelet clasp and hand assembly in Landskrona, Sweden. Priced at €780 and supplied in a burl-wood box, the Tiger Eye belongs to the brand’s Atelier series.
