What to know

The END. x Timex 1981 Reissue draws on vintage sports watches and the atmosphere of summer tennis spectators. Its 35mm steel television-shaped case is only 8.5mm thick, with a softened octagonal stepped bezel. The pale-blue dial carries an engraved globe motif, applied baton markers and a date window, while the back adds a decorative globe-and-tigers engraving.

A tapered steel bracelet completes the period character, with a clasp adjustable along its length. The watch uses an analogue quartz movement; the manufacturer of that movement was not confirmed in the July report. Launch coverage listed a $199 price. This collaboration should not be confused with Timex’s separately revived automatic E Line.
