What to know
The January 2026 DEFY Skyline Skeleton reference 49.9300.3620/07.I001 combines a 41mm black-ceramic case and bracelet with a gold-toned openworked movement, using contrast rather than colour variation alone to explain its dial architecture.

El Primero 3620 SK operates at 5 Hz and delivers approximately 55 hours of power reserve. The subdial at six o'clock is a continuously running tenth-of-a-second indicator that rotates once every ten seconds, not a conventional chronograph seconds counter.

The editorial opportunity is an evidence-based comparison with Zenith's less open Skyline designs: which structural elements improve visual orientation, and which make reading the time more demanding? No wrist-based legibility test has been conducted.
