What distinguishes it
Look beyond the reference.
A 4 Hz balance accompanies chronograph indications for elapsed seconds, minutes and hours. The Chronomat reference linked here uses a date window at six and a 70-hour reserve. Those functional details are more useful for comparison than the B01 label alone.
For the enthusiast
Compare Tudor MT5813 to explore a related chronograph with its own regulating assembly and display choices. Within Breitling, the watch reference still matters for dial layout and case specifications. The slide-rule bezel of a Navitimer, for example, is a separate calculating scale rather than an extra mechanism inside B01.
