What to know
Louis Erard’s collaboration with Konstantin Chaykin continues its expressive approach to dial design with Unfrogettable Brown. The character's large eyes are built into the hour and minute indication, with brown and ochre tones, lacquered details and bright luminous accents giving the watch a mischievous amphibian identity. It is unusual watch design with a clear sense of humour.

The 40 mm case uses satin-finished and polished Grade 5 titanium, combined with a sapphire crystal treated for reflections on both sides and a display back. Louis Erard specifies water resistance of 50 metres. Its playful appearance is carefully layered, from darker concentric rings to the pupil-like hour and minute displays and contrasting hands.
The appeal of this project is the willingness to treat a wristwatch as a character rather than a neutral instrument. Chaykin's visual vocabulary and Louis Erard's collaborative platform give the dial a personality that can be recognised from a distance.
