What to know
Atelier de Chronométrie’s AdC16 is a commissioned watch built around the workshop’s first conventional two-counter chronograph. Its 36mm case combines a steel middle section with an 18-carat yellow-gold bezel, crown, pushers and caseback. A black gilt dial and gold hands continue the vintage-inspired composition.
The manually wound S440 starts from the Valjoux 23 but adds newly made components, a revised balance and an instantaneous jumping chronograph minute counter. The stated power reserve is 52 hours. Hand finishing includes frosted surfaces, polished bevels and black-polished steel.

A handmade steel-and-gold beads-of-rice bracelet completes this particular commission; a leather strap is also supplied. This is an individual customer’s watch, with further projects subject to the atelier’s bespoke production process.
