What to know
Fortis has rebuilt the Novonaut’s night-time display around a full Lumicast X1 base dial. The new N-42 TR Halo arrives in black, blue and green, each using dark chronograph registers to create a reverse-panda effect after sunset. A bidirectional ceramic Sirius bezel also carries Super-LumiNova X1, extending the glow beyond the dial.
The 42mm recycled-steel case measures 15mm thick, spans 51mm lug to lug and is rated to 200 metres. Inside, automatic Werk 17 TR combines a column wheel, day-date display, free-sprung variable-inertia balance and two-point balance fixation with a 70-hour reserve. The Halo Black reference F2040021 is listed at CHF 5,450 on its hybrid textile-and-FKM strap.
