What to know

Mido’s black Multifort 8 One Crown applies a dark PVD finish to the case, bezel, crown and connecting elements. The monochrome exterior makes the metallic hands and markers more prominent against the horizontally patterned dial. The fixed octagonal bezel preserves the One Crown’s simpler format, without the second crown and inner rotating bezel of its sibling.

Automatic Calibre 80 provides up to 80 hours of reserve and uses a Nivachron balance spring. Sapphire protects the dial, with the movement visible through the back. Reference M055.507.37.051.00 is paired with a fitted black rubber strap. July coverage introduced the finish as an extension of the existing One Crown design.
