Tweety becomes the hands of Timex’s blue Weekender

The Looney Tunes x Timex Tweety Bird Weekender TW2Y99500 makes the character part of the time display rather than simply printing it on the dial. Tweety’s outstretched arms serve as the hour and minute hands against a bright blue field with full Arabic numerals.

Timex uses a polished silver-tone low-lead brass case measuring 38mm wide, 45.5mm from lug to lug and 9mm thick. A matching blue fabric slip-through strap completes the colour treatment, while a battery-powered quartz movement handles timekeeping. The official US price is $169. It is a straightforward Weekender mechanically, but the dial animation gives the familiar format a clear reason to exist.
