What to know
The 2026 Freak X Grey refines Ulysse Nardin’s more approachable interpretation of the Freak. A 41mm monobloc steel case replaces the previous generation’s modular titanium construction, while a grey hour disc and cognac nubuck strap give this version a restrained palette. Unlike crownless Freak models, the X retains a conventional crown for operation.

The new automatic UN-232 uses a rose-gold micro-rotor, oversized silicon balance and DIAMonSIL escapement. Its 216 components deliver a stated 72-hour reserve at 3Hz. The flying carousel rotates to indicate minutes, retaining the collection’s distinctive mechanical display. A tool-free strap system adds everyday flexibility to reference 2323-500-1A/0A.
