What to know
Tissot's Seastar 1000 brings genuine dive-watch specifications to an everyday-friendly 40 mm case. The black dial uses bold hands and luminous markers, while the unidirectional rotating bezel gives the watch the familiar layout of an underwater timing instrument.
Inside, the Powermatic 80 automatic provides an extended 80-hour reserve and Tissot's Nivachron balance spring. The case is rated to 300 metres, with a screw-down crown and caseback, an antireflective sapphire crystal and an exhibition window over the movement.

The stainless-steel bracelet gives this reference a more versatile look than the rubber-strap alternatives. At 40 mm, it also offers a notably different wrist presence from the larger professional Seastar designs already featured on Chronolume.
