What to know
The Heure H is rectangular watch design reduced to a typographic idea. Created by Philippe Mouquet in 1996, its steel case uses two projecting bars to transform the Hermès initial into the complete silhouette of the watch. Ref. W046513WW00 is the medium 30-millimetre expression of that concept.
Hermès pairs the steel case with its “Plume” diamond setting, a natural white mother-of-pearl dial and a long interchangeable strap in étoupe Swift calfskin. The restrained palette lets the case shape remain the primary signature.
A quartz movement keeps the watch slim and direct. Hermès lists the Swiss-made reference at €6,700 in Belgium. It is an unusually pure example of brand identity becoming physical structure: the logo is not printed on the design; it is the design.
