F.P. Journe: A black dial sharpens the élégante 48 Titalyt

The élégante 48 mm Titalyt® brings a dark treated-titanium case together with a luminous black dial and rhodium-plated steel hands. Its tortue outline gives the large format a recognisable silhouette, while pale and bright rubber straps create strong contrast. White, pink and yellow configurations appear in the gallery.

Quartz-regulated electromechanical calibre 1210 drives the display. After 35 minutes without movement the hands pause, but the electronic timekeeping continues; renewed motion returns the hands to the current time. The official specification lists a 7.95mm height. Titalyt is the manufacture’s titanium surface treatment using electro-plasma oxidation.
