What to know
Zenith’s Chronomaster Open has always worn its mechanical fascination openly. For the 2026 Japan Edition, that signature aperture becomes part of a vivid blue gradient dial, framed by pale mother-of-pearl chronograph counters. The steel case is a compact 39.5mm, with a three-link bracelet that leaves the dial as the star of the composition.
Inside is automatic El Primero Calibre 3604, an integrated column-wheel chronograph beating at 36,000 vibrations per hour. The central chronograph hand travels around the dial once in ten seconds, allowing readings to one tenth of a second. A 60-hour power reserve and 100m water resistance keep the mechanics practical. Limited to 100 for Japan, the watch also includes a blue denim strap made with fabric from Okayama—an unusually apt local touch.
