What to know
Omega’s fourth-generation Planet Ocean is a ground-up redesign that keeps the collection’s professional diving brief. Reference 217.30.42.21.01.002 pairs a matte black dial with a blue ceramic dive bezel, broad-arrow hands and large luminous numerals. The new two-part case architecture includes a grade 5 titanium inner ring and removes the former external helium valve.
The stainless-steel case is 42 mm across, 13.79 mm thick and water-resistant to 600 metres. Automatic Co-Axial Master Chronometer calibre 8912 offers a quick-set hour hand, 60-hour reserve and METAS-certified antimagnetic performance. A redesigned three-row steel bracelet includes a rack-and-pusher extension and separate diver extension.
