A. Lange & Söhne marks 20 years of the Datograph Perpetual in platinum

A. Lange & Söhne has introduced the Datograph Perpetual reference 410.136E, a 50-piece platinum edition marking two decades since the complication debuted. Its 41mm by 13.5mm case is matched to a five-row 950-platinum bracelet and deployant clasp. The black silver dial uses rhodium-coloured subdials, an outsize date, moon-phase display and 11 baguette-cut diamond hour markers, retaining the dense but ordered Datograph layout.

The manually wound L952.1 combines a chronograph with perpetual-calendar indications, day/night display and day-of-week display. It comprises 556 parts, runs at 18,000 semi-oscillations per hour and offers 36 hours of power reserve. Water resistance is rated to 3 bar.
