What to know
Omega’s orange Planet Ocean reference 217.30.42.21.01.003 is the most direct visual link to the collection’s 2005 debut. Its matte black dial uses orange-varnished numerals and broad-arrow hands, while a new orange ceramic bezel carries a white hybrid-ceramic diving scale. The redesigned case dispenses with the former external helium valve.
The 42 mm stainless-steel case is 13.79 mm thick and rated to 600 metres. A grade 5 titanium inner ring forms part of the new construction. Automatic Co-Axial Master Chronometer calibre 8912 supplies a quick-set hour hand, 60-hour reserve and METAS certification. The steel bracelet has comfort adjustment and a diver extension.
