What to know
The new Golden Green interpretation of Serica’s 8315 Travel Chronometer replaces a typical high-contrast travel-watch palette with an olive enamel dial, warm yellow-gold accents and a single-piece ceramic bezel that shifts visually between golden beige and almond green. The result is quieter than the usual two-colour GMT, without abandoning the functional 24-hour scale.
Its asymmetrical day-night indications and round-tipped GMT hand still give the wearer the core information of a travel watch. The design question is whether lowering contrast also weakens legibility: Serica’s own images make a strong case for tonal harmony, but assessing real-world readability would require hands-on testing.

Serica lists the reference 8315-3 at €2,090, with shipping scheduled to begin at the end of November. It identifies the movement as a Swiss mechanical automatic COSC-certified chronometer. Exact announcement day and country-specific allocation are not established.
