What distinguishes it
Look beyond the reference.
Two calendar discs change together: the weekday is read at twelve and the date at three. Underneath, a variable-inertia balance, blue Parachrom hairspring and traversing balance bridge form part of the movement’s regulation and support architecture.
For the enthusiast
The extra calendar indication distinguishes it from 3235 more meaningfully than the prestige of the complete watch. Current Day-Date 36 and 40 references use 3255, but older Day-Date generations require their own identification; the collection name alone does not establish a calibre.
