CWC Sea Falcon: when a diver’s bezel meets a three-register chronograph
CWC combines a Royal Navy-derived case with quartz chronograph functions. The result adds timing choices, but also asks more of a compact dial.

The analysis
The Sea Falcon puts two kinds of timing on the same wrist. The elapsed-time version has a rotating bezel surrounding a three-register quartz chronograph, inside CWC’s Royal Navy-derived case form. It is easy to count the added functions; the more useful question is whether you want both interfaces on one relatively compact face.
CWC specifies a Ronda 5030.d movement, sapphire, 200m water resistance and a 41mm steel case measured without the crown. Lug-to-lug is 47mm, with 20mm fixed bars. The running seconds sit at three, the chronograph minute register at nine and the elapsed-hour register at six. The large central seconds hand belongs to the chronograph, so it should not be mistaken for the ordinary running-seconds display.

In the official dial photograph, the registers, date window, large numerals and bezel all compete for space. The chronograph separates elapsed seconds, minutes and hours; the bezel provides a simpler reference without starting those counters. That flexibility is the point, but the simpler SBS dial in our CWC field-and-dive comparison may be preferable if immediate time reading matters more than extra timing functions.
The £899 UK listing offers elapsed-time and GMT-bezel options. The photographed version is the former, with a 120-click one-way bezel. The GMT option changes the bezel reference; the published movement is still the Ronda quartz chronograph, not a dedicated GMT calibre with an additional hour hand. These are alternatives within the same family, not separate launches.

Against the 6BB-WR, the Sea Falcon exchanges automatic winding and a two-register composition for quartz convenience, a rotating bezel and a 200m rather than 100m stated rating. Those ratings do not establish underwater pusher operation: follow CWC’s operating instructions rather than inferring it from the depth number. The £1,351 difference from the black 6BB-WR’s checked UK price makes the movement choice especially visible.
Method and limits: desk research and visual inspection of official CWC photographs, checked 8 November 2026. Prices and availability describe the UK catalogue at that check, excluding any assessment of Belgian delivered cost. Manufacturer specifications have not been independently tested; there was no hands-on access. Source dates identify published source records, not a newly verified watch-release date.
