Atelier Wen Ancestra Yao: a Dubai debut with grand feu enamel and Eastern Arabic numerals

Atelier Wen's Ancestra Yáo was one of the most compelling independent releases at Dubai Watch Week 2025. Created with Revolution Arabia, its dial begins with a 925 silver base that receives a deliberate gratté scratch finish. Multiple translucent layers of grand feu enamel produce a sandy-to-chocolate gradient, with Eastern Arabic numerals alternating with lab-grown baguette diamonds.

The watch has a 38 mm 904L stainless-steel case inspired by ancient Chinese jade carvings. A heavily customised automatic Pequignet EPM03, visible beneath a decorated rotor, provides a 65-hour power reserve. The edition was available to order from November 18–27, 2025 for US$5,850 excluding taxes, with deliveries expected in late 2026. This is a cross-cultural statement expressed through craftsmanship rather than a newly launched 2026 model.
