What to know
IWC’s Portugieser Chronograph Ceratanium, reference IW371631, translates one of the manufacture’s cleanest designs into a monochrome technical material. The 41mm case, crown and pushers are made from Ceratanium, IWC’s heat-treated titanium alloy that combines low weight with ceramic-like hardness. A black dial, black appliqués, black hands and a patterned rubber strap complete the deliberately shadowed appearance.

The familiar vertical layout places running seconds at six and a 30-minute chronograph register at twelve. Inside, the automatic 69355 calibre uses column-wheel control for the stopwatch and offers 46 hours of reserve. The case is 13mm thick and water-resistant to 3 bar, with a tinted sapphire back revealing the movement. IWC limits the first Ceratanium Portugieser to 1,500 pieces.
